MY PHOTOGRAPHY
Black and White photography and darkroom work is my favourite form of photography.
Black and White photography. Infrared photography. Dark room creative printing.
Light manipulation using films, filters or camera settings.
Special effects using simple camera tricks like multiple exposure to using film in ways it was not designed to be used such as push processing film and cross processing colour slide film, using filters, digital manipulation and combining traditional dark room (silver halide / Cyanotypes / "Liquid Light") process's with digital techniques such as creating digital negatives on acetate for contact printing on photo paper in the darkroom.
In fact, not just to taking a photograph with a camera in the traditional way, but doing things like Photogram's, scanning photographs and printing on acetate to make a digital full size negative to simply drawing on transparent film and then exposing photographic paper under the acetate negative.
Exposing paper coated with light sensitive chemicals to create "Cyanotypes".
Playing with light.
Using multiple exposure on moving subjects with the 3 primary colour filters individually.
Beyond the visible spectrum with Infrared enabled cameras and filters.
Playing with film.
Pushing film like highly overrating the exposure levels of Black and White film to give a very ethereal and dense look to a final print.
Using colour slide film and cross processing it to create wacky unreal colour schemes.
