Pastiche and Homage photoart
I call this division "Pastage" which I made up from 2 words, "Pastiche" and "Homage"
As much as I love darkroom (wet) photography, this division is a real favourite of mine where I will create a photographic image, either from a poem, phrase, quote etc, (Pastiche) like to a poem by Italo Calvino called "The distance of the moon" or a bit of prose from my childhood, (or even adulthood) making a visual depiction of the words as I see them, or to re-creating a famous painting using photography (Homage) for paintings by Salvador Dali such as "Rose" or by Leonardo da Vinci such as "Last Supper".
I am planning on one to depict the painting by Monet of "Westminster", but with this one, unlike the other ones where I used digital manipulations, I am only going to use film, rated differently, and darkroom process's
